چکیده
In order to provide gigabit per second wireless communication, various standards have been proposed and implemented in recent years. Since the millimeter-wave (mm-wave) communication enables uncompressed high-speed data transfer with a minimum delay, it is considered be most promising technology alleviate pressure of increasing demand spectrum resource. this paper, compact highly efficient mm-wave transmitter presented. The injection-locked binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) can deliver 10.2 dBm output an efficiency over 10%. occupies 0.105 mm2 chip area 65 nm CMOS process.

A 56–65 GHz Injection-Locked Frequency Tripler With Quadrature Outputs in 90-nm CMOS
A sub-harmonic injection-locked tripler multiplies a 20-GHz differential input to 60-GHz quadrature (I/Q) output signals. The tripler consists of a two-stage ring oscillator driven by a single-stage polyphase input filter and 50I and Q-signal output buffers. Each gain stage incorporates a hard limiter to triple the input frequency for injection locking and a negative resistance cell with two po...

In this paper, an Injection Locking Frequency Divider (ILFD) in 65 nm RF CMOS Technology for applications in millimeter-wave (mm-W) band is presented. The proposed circuit achieves 12.69% of locking range without any tuning mechanism and it can cover the entire mm-W band in presence of Process, Voltage and Temperature (PVT) variations by changing the Injection Locking Oscillator (ILO) voltage c...

This paper presents a Successive Approximation Register Analog-to-Digital Converter (SAR ADC) design for sensor applications. An energy-saving switching technique is proposed to achieve ultra low power consumption. The measured Signal-to-Noise-and-Distortion Ratio (SNDR) of the ADC is 58.4 dB at 2 MS/s with an ultra-low power consumption of only 6.6 μW from a 0.8V supply, resulting in a Figure-...
متن کاملMillimeter-Wave CMOS Impulse Radio
Millimeter waves are electromagnetic waves with wavelengths of 1 to 10 mm in vacuum, and they were discovered experimentally in the 19th century (Wiltse, 1984). In 1946, the most unique feature of millimeter waves, oxygen absorption at 60 GHz, was reported, which results in the rapid attenuation of electromagnetic waves in the air (Beringer, 1946). Although the oxygen absorption makes long-dist...

A 140 GHz transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) chip set has been developed in 65 nm CMOS by using on– off keying non-coherent modulation to support high speed proximity data communication. To the author’s best knowledge, it enables the first integrated multi-Gbps data link in D-band by saving power hungry frequency synthesizer, high speed data convertors and complicated digital signal processor. ...
